Adult Services

As we transition into adulthood, we all need continued support in our lives.

General Information

Some adult resources and support services are provided by the Maine Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) to individuals who are eligible. These include case management, supported employment, certain types of training, and extended mental health supports. We all go through periods of stress that can affect us emotionally and mentally. During these times, it is especially important to reach out and ask for help. Determining eligibility for services takes time; often there is a waitlist.

Start the process as early as possible by talking with your caseworker about whether or not you are eligible for extended services.

Resources
